Summer 2023

Kintsugi Apprentice Program

Earn a certificate as a kintsugi-shi to practice and foster kintsugi around the world, through our 100-hour apprenticeship in Kyoto.

Kintsugi-shi literally translates to kintsugi teacher. Teacher in the greater sense of the word. Someone who is an educator, a leader, an ambassador, a mentor, and serves as inspiration for kintsugi practice. Our Apprentice Program ensures that certified kintsugi-shi are armed with the logic, philosophy, and historical and cultural context that are at the heart of authentic Japanese kintsugi-repair.
