Holiday gift ideas

Holiday season is often associated with celebratory design with a bit of sparkle, and a table filled with warm, nourishing dishes. So there may not be anything more appropriate than giving the gift of kintsugi-repaired tableware.

POJ Studio works with numerous ceramists across the Japanese countryside. And while the Japanese postal service is generally extremely tender in the care of all packages, once in a blue moon, a dish or a cup will arrive to us broken. Most shops would return broken wares back to the craftsperson, but that doesn't put the artisan in a very comfortable position. They aren't able to do much with them, and they often simply end up in the trash bin. This certainly does not align with our ethos, so we make it a point to repair each ware. Not to mention that kintsugi naturally brings to life wares that have that special holiday dazzle.

The following gift sets are launching soon! Quantities are very limited, so subscribe to the POJ Studio newsletter if you haven't already to ensure you are the first to know when these unique pieces launch online.
